| | have you been writing, arranging and

| much, Fran. It is a pleasure to be with

| | producing your own music? Is it as
|
| you.FB:You produced your own album; was
| |
| | challenging as it is fun?DeeJazz: I
|
| that a difficult decision?DeeJazz:
| |
| | started writing poems when I was around
|
| Producing my own album was not at all a
| |
| | 10 years old and I began putting music to
|
| difficult decision. It had been a dream
| |
| | them at 13. I would play the music on the
|
| of mine for a long time. I have been
| |
| | family piano as I sang the songs.
|
| writing songs and playing them on the
| |
| | Sometimes I would make up instrumental
|
| piano since I was 13. So, by the time I
| |
| | songs and play them with intense passion.
|
| produced the album, I had quite a few

| | I didn't know at the time but it was a

| years of writing and recording experience

| | way for me to release tension.Writing
|
| under my belt. But yes; there were times

| | music has been challenging, but mostly

| when I doubted by ability to do it by

| | it's been fun. I had two music classes in

| myself. After I completed several songs I
| |
| | my life. But I found the literal writing
|
| presented them to some experienced
| |
| | and reading of musical notes tedious and
|
| producers for their opinions. One told me
| |
| | too technical to contain my interest. I
|
| my production wasn't good enough and that
| |
| | play and write by ear. I hear the songs
|
| I would need their help, I sensed their
| |
| | in my head and then play what I hear. I
|
| desire for control and, not to mention,
| |
| | feel the most important thing to learn
|
| compensation. Another told me my
| |
| | about songwriting is structure. For
|
| productions were great.However, by this
| |
| | example; verse, chorus, verse, chorus,
|
| time confidence in my writing ability had
| |
| | bridge, chorus, ... etc. There are
|
| matured to the point where I was feeling
| |
| | several structures but most songs follow
|
| pretty secure. Nevertheless, I wanted the
| |
| | the same basic structure. Once I learned
|
| opinions of experienced writers
| |
| | song structure it became easier because I
|
| producers. I found out that they are
| |
| | knew where to put what. What I love most
|
| people too."I encourage anyone that loves

| | about song writing is hearing it grow

| | up I cannot recall one time that she

| written in the early 70's by Jane

| | raised her voice to me or made me feel

| Roberts, a woman who channeled a

| | bad about anything. We have always been
|
| non-physical entity with some powerful

| | mentally and spiritually close, sharing

| | our love of ideas, self-help information

| finished a great, great book called, The

| Renard. It's an enlightening read mostly

| | we initially anticipated. We are in the

| was it like collaborating with your
